Consortium of Universities for Global Health - 10th Annual Global Health Conference

The 10th Annual CUGH Global Health conference was co-hosted by Cayetano Heredia Unniversity, Northwestern University, University of Chicago, and the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Sola Olopade, CGH Associate Director, was one of six conference Chairs. The conference brought together more than 2,000 researchers, government officials, policy makers, and students from all around the world to collaborate and address global health challenges, including noncommunicable and infectious diseases to climate change, environmental degradation, governance, inequality, and human rights. Winners of the MacArthur Foundation's 100&Change competition were showcased in a concluding session, moderated by Sola Olopade.
