Triple Negative Breast Cancer, It’s A Black Thing, We Need to Understand" an education and empowerment event for Black women.

Patient Advocate Foundation and Sisters Working It Out are collaborating to launch Ignite: A Movement to Raise Awareness about Triple Negative Breast Cancer and the Impact on Black Women. The movement includes a series of activities including an inaugural education event entitled "Triple Negative Breast Cancer, It’s A Black Thing, We Need to Understand" is scheduled for Saturday, April 1, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the South Shore Cultural Center.

The names of all attendees will be entered into a drawing for a $500 gift card. The winner must be present to claim the prize.

The event is designed to increase knowledge among Black women of their risk for triple negative breast cancer, the importance of early detection, explain clinical trials participation and share available resources to support women along their cancer journey.
