ICGCW 2018 was organized by Drs. Kirti Kulkarni of the UChicago Breast Imaging Center and Funmi Olopade of the UChicago Center for Clinical Cancer Genetics and Global health, on behalf of the Tata Memorial Center, the Indian Society for Cancer Genetics and the Indo-UK Genetic Education forum at the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer, Mumbai, India. The conference covered basic, translational and clinical aspects of major hereditary cancer syndromes due to germline mutations in various genes, including those that are increasingly coming to light as a result of gene panel testing.
