New Global Health Certificate Program

In response to rising interest from University of Chicago students in addressing health related issues that cross national borders and affect the well-being of people around the world, the Graduate Program in Health Administration and Policy (GPHAP) has collaborated with the Global Health Initiative and the Pritzker School of Medicine to develop a new Global Health Certificate Program at the School of Social Service Administration (SSA). The program will take a multidisciplinary approach to addressing global health issues, drawing participants from the Pritzker School of Medicine, the Booth School of Business, the Harris School of Public Policy, the Law School, and SSA. The Certificate Program will build on the foundational curriculums of all of these schools while training students for leadership roles in the field of global health.

Applications are now being accepted for entrance into the program in the fall of 2012. Applicants must be enrolled in or admitted to one of the participating professional schools.
